Model and Year 1991 CHEVROLET CORVETTE WITH L98 (STANDARD) ENGINE


TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS


General Motors has determined that certain 1991 Chevrolet Corvette model vehicles with L98 (standard) engines may have been built with engine upper coolant (radiator inlet) hoses which contact the accessory drive belt. If this condition continues to exist, engine coolant loss due to hose wear through may occur.


To correct this condition, dealers are to replace the current upper coolant hose which will allow for greater clearance to the accessory drive belt.
