It has been determined that certain 1991 Chevrolet Corvette model vehicles with L98 (standard) engines may have been built with engine upper coolant (radiator inlet) hoses which contact the accessory drive belt. If this condition continues to exist; engine coolant loss due to hose wear through may occur.

To correct this condition, dealers are to replace the current upper coolant hose which will allow for greater clearance of the accessory drive belt, on all involved vehicles according to instructions contained in the bulletin.

Parts required to complete this campaign are to be obtained through General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO).

The attached recap indicates the number of vehicles involved in each Branch.
