Fig. 3 Exhaust Manifold Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect AIR hose at check valve, then remove alternator brace.
3. Disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs and brackets and position aside, then remove spark plugs after engine has cooled.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Disconnect exhaust cross-over pipe at exhaust manifolds.
6. Lower vehicle, then remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts and remove exhaust manifold, Fig. 3.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
