Preliminary Checks and Visual Inspection

If a malfunction in the ABS system occurs, check the following before using the code diagnostic charts:
1. Check the STOP/HAZ, BRAKE, SIR and CLUSTER fuses.
2. Check fusible link J.
3. Ensure that all ABS connectors are securely connected.
4. Ensure control module connector is securely connected.
5. Check ABS system grounds.
