Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove console trim plate attaching screws, then the console trim plate.
3. Remove radio assembly.
4. Remove lateral acceleration switch attaching screws, Fig. 61.
5. Disconnect lateral acceleration switch electrical connector, then remove switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque lateral acceleration mounting bolts to 15 inch lbs.
