Circuit Description:

UART is composed of two serial data lines leading from the CCM to the heater and A/C programmer. Data is sent and received by both the programmer and the CCM. UART information is sent by the programmer to the heater control assembly (control head) over the "E" and "C" bus (Entertainment and comfort Data Line).

Code 10

Code 10 indicates the programmer detects a fault in the serial data it is
receiving. Check for a short or an open in the UART data lines.

Three dashes "---" displayed by the heater and A/C control assembly (control head) indicates data line failure has occurred. Check for an open in the circuit between the programmer and A/C control assembly or a short in data line output from programmer.
