This bulletin applies to 1991 2.2L (VIN G) engines found in "J" Carline Service Manuals.

The information contained in this bulletin supercedes any previous bulletin on this subject and updates Chart A-7 in Section 6E2 (DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS-TBI), Fuel System Diagnosis.

The Throttle Body Injection (TBI) unit used on these engines contains a constant bleed in the fuel meter assembly which allows fuel pressure to bleed down when the engine is turned "OFF." The new fuel system diagnosis are in this bulletin.
