Fig. 5 Manual Linkage. Corvette:

1. Place transmission control lever in Neutral position Fig. 5.
2. Loosen cable attachment at shift lever.
3. Rotate shift lever clockwise to Park position and then back to Neutral position.
4. Torque cable attachment to 15 lb ft Lever must be held in position when tightening attachment.
5. Check control cable by rotating control lever through each detent.
