Mark position of steering wheel in relation to shaft prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Squeeze horn button cap to disengage locks, then disconnect contact from steering wheel and remove cap, Fig. 22.
3. Remove screws securing center star screw, star screw, and adjusting lever.
4. Remove snap ring and nut from steering shaft.
5. Remove steering wheel using a suitable puller.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
