The information in this bulletin supersedes information published on page 6A1-1 of Section 6A1, "Engine Mechanical" in the 1989 Corvette Service Manual.

The connecting rod description stating that a piston pin bushing is pressed into the piston end of the rod and reamed to size is incorrect. The piston pin is pressed into the piston end of the connecting rod.
