PROCEDURE
1. Remove intake manifold, refer to Intake Manifold / Service and Repair.
2. Remove left exhaust manifold, refer to Exhaust Manifold / Service and Repair.
3. Remove oil level indicator, then the spark plug wires from left cylinder head.
4. Loosen rocker arms, then remove pushrods.

NOTE: Intake and exhaust pushrods are different lengths with exhaust pushrods being longer of the two.

5. Remove cylinder head attaching bolts, then cylinder head.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Coat cylinder head bolt threads with a suitable sealing compound.
b. Torque cylinder head attaching bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft lbs) in sequence, (Figure 1), then turn bolts and additional 1/4 turn in sequence.
c. Torque all remaining bolts/nuts to specifications, refer to Mechanical / Engine Tightening Specifications.
