Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

Except RS & Z24
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove headlight switch knob by pulling knob to full ``On'' position, depressing retaining clip behind knob and pulling knob from shaft.
3. Gently pry left hand side trim plate out of instrument panel.
4. Remove switch retaining nut, rotate and tilt switch forward and pull switch from instrument panel.
5. Disconnect wiring connector and remove switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

RS & Z24
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Carefully pry left pad trim plate rearward.
3. Remove headlight switch to trim plate attaching screws, then remove switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
