The 1989 Cavalier Service Manual recommends the use of J 37097 Hose Clamp Pliers when replacing heater hoses. J 37097 will NOT work on Cavalier models.

When replacing heater hoses on Cavalier models, use Kent-Moore available tool J 38185, Blue-Point HCI10 or other equivalent hose clamp pliers. Please mark a reference to this information in your Service Manuals on pages:
