Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Front Engine Mount:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove mount to bracket through bolts.
3. Using a suitable engine lifting fixture, raise engine slightly so that mount clears bracket.
4. Remove mount to engine attaching bolts, then remove mount, Fig. 1.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
