Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

Fig. 4 Exhaust Manifold Replace:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. If necessary, disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs.
3. Remove AIR pipes and AIR valve.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Disconnect exhaust crossover pipe from exhaust manifold, then lower vehicle.
6. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then remove exhaust manifold and gasket, Fig. 4.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
