Fuel Pressure Test Port: Service and Repair

Fuel Pressure Connection Assembly:

REMOVAL:

1. Clean around the fuel pressure connection with GM X-30A or equivalent.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Relieve the fuel system pressure. See MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF.
4. Remove the fuel pressure connection and seal.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install a new seal on the fuel pressure connection.
2. Screw the fuel pressure connection into the fuel block, and tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb.in).
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
