The outside temperature readout will display current outside temperature in the English or metric mode. The outside air temperature sensor uses a variable resistance from 100.7K ohms (-40 F.) to 393 ohms (167 F.) to indicate temperature. Rising temperatures will not be updated with road speeds of less than 15 mph, unless the ignition is cycled off and on.
