Shift Linkage: Adjustments

1986---88
1. Remove shift lever cover.
2. Using a suitable spring scale attached to top of lever, select a shim that will allow a preload of .1---.2 lbs.
3. Shims are available in .031, .035, .039, .043 and .047 inch thicknesses.
