Overdrive Solenoid Replace

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Remove transmission oil pan and filter assembly.

3. Disconnect T.V. cable from throttle body lever, if applicable.

4. Remove valve body.

5. Using tool No. J-34529 or equivalent, compress shift valve spring, then remove retaining pin.

6. Using tool mentioned above, compress relief valve springs, then remove retaining pin.

7. Remove solenoid to valve body attaching bolts.

8. Remove solenoid valve and check ball assembly from valve body.

9. Reverse procedure to install.
