System Check

1. Release parking brake, then turn ignition switch to ``Run'' position. Amber ANTILOCK indicator should lamp should light for several seconds.
2. Apply and release parking brake. Red BRAKE indicator lamp should light when parking brake is applied.
3. Start engine. ANTILOCK indicator lamp should remain light during cranking.
4. Test drive vehicle at a speed between 20 and 30 mph and use normal braking procedures to stop vehicle. Brake should operate smoothly and ANTILOCK indicator lamp should be out.
5. Refer to ``Diagnosis Procedure'' if steps 1 through 4 are not satisfactory.
