The wiring harness, Fig. 4, provides a path for wheel speed sensors, lateral acceleration switch, power and stop light switch information to control module and also outputs the current control to modulator valve and ANTILOCK warning lamp.
The ABS system has its own wiring harness, located in rear storage compartment behind drivers seat. This harness is connected to standard wiring harness.
The modulator relay is installed in circuit between battery, fuse and control module to protect module from damage due to possible voltage surges.
A fuse is located in main fuse panel, labeled BRAKE, provides protection for main power feed circuit of ABS electrical system.
