DESCRIPTION
On this transaxle, see accompanying figures, all forward gears are synchronized, while reverse uses a sliding idler gear arrangement The synchronizers for first and second gears are located on the output shaft. The input shaft contains the synchronizers for third, fourth and fifth gears. This configuration allows smooth shifting and low idling noise.
