Throttle Positioner (TP)

Fig. 11 Adjusting throttle positioner:

1. Disconnect vacuum hose at TP diaphragm, Fig. 11.
2. Check idle speed with TP on first step (electrical load idle up).
3. Idle speed with TP in previously described position should be 800 RPM on models with manual transaxle or 900 RPM on models with automatic transaxle.
4. If RPM is not as indicated, rotate adjusting screw to obtain specified RPM.
