Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1984-86

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then drain crankcase.
3. Remove starter brace and retaining bolts, and secure starter aside.
4. Remove flywheel cover.
5. Remove oil pan bolts and oil pan.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque oil pan retaining bolts to 80 inch lbs.
