Power Steering Pump Replace

Fig. 3 Power steering pump installation (Typical):

1. Remove pump adjusting bolt.
2. Remove lower brace to pump bracket attaching bolt, Fig. 3.
3. Remove crossmember to frame support brace, then disconnect hydraulic lines at pump.
4. Remove rear pump adjusting bracket, then the front pivot bolt.
5. Remove front pump bracket to engine attaching bolt, then the pump and bracket.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
