Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
1. Remove timing belt. Refer to `Timing Belt, Replace.''
2. Remove crankshaft hub center bolt and washer.
3. Using a suitable puller, remove hub from crankshaft.
4. Using puller No. J-29752, remove crankshaft timing belt pulley.
5. Pry out front oil seal using a suitable screwdriver.
6. Apply clean engine oil to inner and outer surfaces of new seal, using a suitable seal installer, install the oil seal.
7. Position crankshaft timing belt pulley flange into seal, align pulley groove with crankshaft key. Drive pulley onto crankshaft using installer tool No. J-26587.
8. Align crankshaft hub keyway with crankshaft key, install center bolt. Torque to 98 to 119 ft. lbs.
9. Reinstall timing belt. Refer to `Timing Belt, Replace.''
