TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

ILLUSTRATION:

When replacing the coil wire on the 1982-86 Cavalier with the 1.8L carbureted engine or the 2.0L fuel injected engines, the proper P/N wire must be used to insure proper engagement of the terminal and sealing against contamination, (See Illustration attached).

NOTICE: If the 1982-84 part is used on the 1985-86 models, the boot will be too long on the distributor end and may not allow proper terminal engagement. Also, the boot will be too short on the coil end and a poor seal against contamination may result.
