Some 1982-87 Camaros may experience uneven tire wear on the outer ribs of the front tires.

To eliminate or minimize this condition, check the sum toe setting on an alignment machine. The sum toe should be set to .10 degrees +/- .20 degrees.

The sum toe specification was changed from .30 degrees, +/- .20 degrees, to .10 degrees +/- .20 degrees for both factory and service settings starting with the VIN breakpoints below:
