FIGURE 1 - TEMPLATE:

When the rear compartment lift panel inner cover is being replaced, the replacement panel will not have the holes or stiffener for the luggage shade cover. Following are the instructions on how to cut and drill the holes using the template provided (see Figure 1).

1. Remove cover panel compartment lift window inner.

2. Cut out slots by placing template exactly on center of cover panel compartment lift window inner panel as indicated in Figure 2.
3. Place stiffener, P/N 20341735, in proper location and drill two (2) 3.4 mm diameter holes using existing holes in stiffener as template.

4. Pop rivet stiffener to cover panel in two (2) places to secure.

5. Reinstall cover assembly to its original position.
