Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).





Note: The speaker assembly is only held in place by retaining screws. Be sure to support the speaker assembly upon removal.

2. Remove the screws retaining the front door speaker assembly to the door.
3. Disconnect the electrical/audio connector from the front door speaker.
4. Remove the front door speaker assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door speaker assembly into position in the door.
2. Connect the electrical/audio connector to the front door speaker.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

Note: The tightening sequence MUST be followed.

3. Install the front door speaker assembly retaining screws in the following sequence:

1. The uppermost screw
2. The lowermost screw
3. The remaining screws in a criss-cross pattern
Tighten the screws in sequence to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
