Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the stabilizer shaft mounting bolts.
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator from the stabilizer shaft.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator to the stabilizer shaft with the slit facing forwards.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the stabilizer shaft bracket.
3. Install the stabilizer shaft bracket mounting bolts and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).
4. Lower the vehicle.
