Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement




Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (LH2) (4.6L)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Front Air Deflector Replacement).
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).




4. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
5. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the reservoir outlet hose from the reservoir.
6. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the reservoir with the hose clamp.
2. Install the reservoir outlet hose to the power steering pump with the hose clamp.
3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Front Air Deflector Replacement).
6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (Service and Repair).
