Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Right Side (V8)

Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Exhaust Service Warning (Service Precautions).

Warning: Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning (Protective Goggles and Glove Warning).





1. Remove the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (V6) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side)Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (V8) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side).
2. Remove the bolts (604) securing the exhaust manifold heat shield (603) to the exhaust manifold (600).
3. Remove the heat shield from the manifold.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield to the manifold.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts (604) securing the exhaust manifold heat shield (603) to the manifold (600) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
3. Install the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (V6) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side)Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (V8) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side).
