Crankshaft Balancer Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Remove the supercharger drive belt (3).
2. Remove the starter motor for installation of the flywheel holding tool.
3. Remove the air conditioning, power steering, and water pump drive belt (2).
4. Remove the generator drive belt (1).
6. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
7. Remove the front air deflector.
8. Remove the charge air cooler cooling pump and position the hoses aside.





9. Remove the crankshaft balancer (2).
10. Clean and inspect the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Cleaning and Inspection .

Installation Procedure





1. Install the crankshaft balancer (2).





2. Install the charge air cooler cooling pump and hoses.
3. Install the front air deflector.
5. Install the engine cooling fan assembly.
6. Install the generator drive belt (1).
7. Install the air conditioning, power steering, and water pump drive belt (2).
8. Install the starter motor.
9. Install the supercharger drive belt (3).
10. Fill the charge air cooling system.
