HEATER HOSE REPLACEMENT - OUTLET

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47719).
2. Lower the vehicle.
3. Remove the injector sight shield.
4. Using J 38185, disengage the hose clamp and disconnect the heater outlet hose (1) from the radiator hose outlet housing.
5. Using J 38185, disengage the hose clamp and disconnect the heater outlet hose (1) from the heater pipe assembly.
6. Remove the heater outlet hose (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the heater outlet hose (1).
2. Using J 38185, disengage the hose clamp and connect the heater outlet hose (1) to the heater pipe assembly.
3. Using J 38185, disengage the hose clamp and connect the heater outlet hose (1) to the radiator hose outlet housing.
4. Install the injector sight shield.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47719).
