Transmission Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the exhaust system.
3. Support the transmission with a suitable jack and a block of wood.
4. Remove the transmission vent hose from the retainers on the mount assembly.
5. Remove the transmission support to body mounting bolts.





6. Remove the transmission to support mounting bolts.
7. Remove the transmission mount from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.





2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the transmission to support mounting bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the transmission mount to body mounting bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the transmission vent hose to the retainers on the mount assembly.
5. Remove the transmission jack.
6. Install the exhaust system.
7. Lower the vehicle.
