VACUUM TANK REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn the front wheels to the right.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the two vacuum tank mounting screws (1).
4. Remove the vacuum hose from the tank (3).
5. Remove the vacuum tank (3) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Secure the vacuum tank (3) with two screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the vacuum mounting tank screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

2. Install the vacuum hose to the tank (3).
3. Lower the vehicle.
