Air Outlet Replacement - Crosscar

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the console.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. Remove the side window defogger adapters (12).
5. Remove the duct mounting screws.
6. Remove the duct (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Caution and Notices.

1. Secure the duct assembly (3) using the mounting screws.

Tighten
Tighten the duct assembly retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Install the side window defogger adapters (1,2).
3. Install the instrument panel.
4. Install the console.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
