Air Distribution Duct Replacement

AIR DISTRIBUTOR DUCT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the console.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. Remove the parking brake assembly.
5. Remove the cross-car brace.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness at the retainers.
7. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the actuators.
8. Disconnect the 2 vacuum lines from the A/C distributor.
9. Remove the retaining screws and the distributor from the A/C distributor assembly (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the distributor assembly (2) to the vehicle.
2. Connect the vacuum lines to the distributor.
3. Connect the vacuum lines to the actuators.
4. Connect the wiring harness at the retainers.
5. Install the cross-car brace.
6. Install the parking brake assembly.
7. Install the instrument panel.
8. Install the console.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
