Accelerator Pedal Assembly

REPLACEMENT
1. Remove left hand sound insulator panel.
2. Disconnect cable from accelerator pedal.
3. Remove bolts/screws and stud attaching pedal to dash panel, then remove pedal assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Mounting surface between accelerator plate and dash panel must be free of insulation. The floor carpet in pedal area must be positioned to lay flat and be free of wrinkles and bunches.
b. Torque bolts/screws to 25 inch lbs.
c. Cable assembly must not be kinked or damaged in nay way during assembly. Throttle must operate smoothly without binding between full and closed throttle.
