DESCRIPTION
The Cycling Clutch Orifice Tube (CCOT) refrigeration system is designed to cycle a compressor on and off to maintain desired cooling and to prevent evaporator freeze-up.

The expansion tube (52) (also called an orifice tube) lowers the pressure of the liquid refrigerant from condenser assembly (51) by restricting the flow of the fluid. This prepares the refrigerant to pick up heat.
