Air Diverter Valve: Service and Repair

Electric Diverter Valve (EDV):

REMOVE OR CONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Air outlet hoses from valve.
3. Manifold vacuum hose.
4. Electrical connector.
5. Attaching bolts (2).
6. A.I.R. control valve.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. A.I.R. control valve.
2. Attaching bolts (2).
3. Electrical connector.
4. Manifold vacuum hose.
5. Air outlet hoses from valve.
6. Negative battery cable.
7. Check system operation. Use Chart C-6. Chart C-6 Air Management Check
