You are on this chart because the odometer at key on, read all eights or was blank, but the high beams would cycle when the dimmer switch was activated. These symptoms indicate a problem with the vacuum fluorescent power supply, located in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), or the display components and the related wiring.

TEST DESCRIPTION
The numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart:
1. This step determines if the fault is due to a bad Climate Control Driver Information Center (CCDIC) component.
2. This step determines if the fault is due to a bad radio component.
3. This step checks for ground integrity to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
4. The step determines if the fault is due to a bad IPC component or a short to ground in one of the vacuum fluorescent power wires to the CCDIC or the radio.
