Right Side (Rear)

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Heat shield.
4. Exhaust pipe.
5. Crossover.
6. EGR pipe.
7. Oxygen sensor wire.
8. Manifold.

CLEAN
^ Mating surfaces at cylinder head and manifold.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Manifold into position.
2. Exhaust manifold bolts.
Tighten
^ Manifold bolts 20-30 Nm (15-22 lbs. ft.)
3. Exhaust pipe.
4. EGR valve and related parts.
5. Crossover pipe at the manifold.
Tighten
^ Bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lb.).
6. Heat shield.
Tighten
^ Bolts to 10 Nm (90 in. lb.).
7. Oxygen sensor wire.
8. Lower vehicle.
9. Negative battery cable.

INSPECT
^ For exhaust leaks
^ For proper completion of repair
