Chart 15 Improper Coolant Light Operation

LIGHT ON WITH ENGINE RUNNING
Disconnect orange ECM connector and turn ignition ON.
^ If light remains ON, repair short in circuit #35 between ECM and light.
^ If light is OFF, check for faulty ECM connector or faulty ECM.

NO LIGHT AT ANY TIME
^ If check engine light is OK, check faulty bulb or open circuit #35 to ECM. Also check for Faulty ECM connector or faulty ECM.
^ If check engine light is faulty, repair open in 12 volt circuit #39.
