Recliner Motor Replacement - Rear No. 2

RECLINER MOTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 2

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the seat cushion frame.




3. Remove the push on retainer (1) from the recliner motor driveshaft.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.




5. Slide the shaft (1) out of the recliner motor (2) and bushings (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Slide the recliner motor driveshaft (1) through the recliner motor (2) and the bushings (3).

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the bushings are installed facing as shown in illustration.

2. Connect the electrical connector to the recliner motor.




3. Install a new push on retainer (1) on the recliner motor driveshaft.
4. Install the seat cushion frame.
5. Install the seat into the vehicle.
6. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Power Folding Seat Calibration.
