DVD Player: Service and Repair

DISC PLAYER AND VIDEO DISPLAY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear console trim panel.




2. Remove the arm rest filler.




3. Remove the 4 screws securing the DVD player to the console base bracket.
4. Slide the DVD player out of the bracket.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the screws securing the screen to the DVD player bracket.
7. Remove the screen.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the screws securing the screen to the DVD player bracket.

Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Slide the DVD player into the bracket.
4. Install the 4 screws securing the DVD player to the console base bracket.

Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




5. Install the arm rest filler.
6. Install the rear console trim panel.
