Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P)

COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the I/P compartment door
2. Release the tabs (1) on inboard side of the door arms.




3. Lower the door all the way down.
4. Remove the screws securing the I/P compartment door.




5. Remove the screws (2) securing the I/P compartment.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the I/P compartment onto the I/P retainer.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the screws (2) securing the I/P compartment.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Install the I/P compartment door.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Reinstall the door arms. Insure the tabs (1) are secured to the I/P compartment door.
