ANTENNA REPLACEMENT - GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the I/P retainer.




2. Remove the screws (1) securing the global position antenna to the I/P carrier.
3. Remove the wiring from the carrier.

IMPORTANT: Do not splice the wiring or make the antenna lead shorter.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Route the antenna wire to the carrier.
2. Install the antenna to the carrier.

Tighten the screws (1) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the I/P retainer.
