Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Front
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the drive belt.
Important: Do not discharge the air conditioning system.
3. Remove the A/C compressor from the engine.
4. Secure the compressor away from the bracket area.
5. Remove the engine mount.
6. Remove the engine knock sensor shield and disconnect the sensor harness.
7. Remove the front engine mount bracket bolts from the engine.
8. Remove the rear engine mount bracket bolts from the engine.
9. Remove the engine mount bracket from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the engine mount bracket to the engine.
2. Connect the knock sensor harness connector and install the shield.
3. Install the rear engine mount bracket bolts to the engine. Hand tighten the bolts at this time.
4. Install the front engine mount bracket bolts to the engine. Hand tighten the bolts at this time.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Install the engine mount bracket bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 102 N.m (75 lb ft).
6. Install the engine mount.
7. Install the A/C compressor to the engine.
8. Install the drive belt.
9. Install the transmission.
